After she returned home to Poway she decid\u00aded she did indeed want it so I offered to dri\u00adve up to <span class=\"caps\">SLO<\/span> and pick it up. I kept her (she now has a name, Kat\u00adri\u00adna) here until today when we made the plan to meet half way at the Green Street Restau\u00adrant in Pasade\u00adna for lunch and a hand\u00ading over of Katrina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ashecoutts.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_0010_1033-1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1224\" title=\"Michele, Katrina (handless), and Ashe\" src=\"http:\/\/ashecoutts.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_0010_300-296.jpg\" alt width=\"130\" height=\"130\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Car\u00adol Pre\u00adston offered to ride along as shot\u00adgun and gen\u00ader\u00adal guardian of Objets d\u2019art. We arrived at the appoint\u00aded high noon hour right in front of the Green Street Restau\u00adrant and were lit\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly behind Michele in her car, so it was easy to park togeth\u00ader and walk to lunch. In the mon\u00adtage above: Michele and Car\u00adol just after park\u00ading, the two of them at our table, the three of us with the dregs of lunch, and final\u00adly Michele and I with Kat\u00adri\u00adna hav\u00ading just exit\u00aded the Vol\u00advo on her way to the back seat of the Cam\u00adry. It was a beau\u00adti\u00adful, hot, nice\u00adly cloudy, mid west\u00adern feel\u00ading day com\u00adplete with a few rain drops. (A big\u00adger ver\u00adsion of Kat\u00adri\u00adna can be seen my click\u00ading on her to the left and a big\u00adger mon\u00adtage ver\u00adsion by click\u00ading on the mon\u00adtage itself.)<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>On the way back to San\u00adta Bar\u00adbara Car\u00adol and I drove from West\u00adlake to Leo Car\u00adil\u00adlo State Beach through the beau\u00adti\u00adful San\u00adta Mon\u00adi\u00adca Moun\u00adtains, up the coast to Padero Lane where we paused for a dip in the ocean, then on to Bro\u00adphy Both\u00aders for din\u00adner.
