Near\u00ading Ojai I stopped to check the iPhone\u2019s brows\u00ader for <em>\u201cOjai Val\u00adley Taxi\u00addermy\u201d<\/em> then plugged the result into the gps and rode on over. Own\u00ader Chuck Tes\u00adta, upper left above, came out for a nice vis\u00adit. If you don\u2019t yet know about his viral YouTube stuff <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7IyOvF1ZNcY\" title=\"Click for the Chuck Testa MC Hammer ReMix\">click here<\/a><\/strong> to see my favorite of many vari\u00ada\u00adtions (it\u2019s had 730,000 viewings).<\/p>\n<p>After my vis\u00adit with Chuck it was an 80 degree spin up beau\u00adti\u00adful High\u00adway 33 pass\u00ading the orchards of the San\u00adta Bar\u00adbara Pis\u00adta\u00adchio Com\u00adpa\u00adny which are just bare\u00adly with\u00adin San\u00adta Bar\u00adbara Coun\u00adty on the far north\u00adeast cor\u00adner. A few more miles on High\u00adway 33 then a left turn west onto High\u00adway 166 where I was <strong><em>ready<\/em><\/strong> for lunch. Alas my lunch goal was the <em>\u201cRan\u00adcho Nipo\u00admo\u201d<\/em> restau\u00adrant rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded by friend Car\u00adol Carter, cur\u00adrent\u00adly 65 miles on down the road. So I motored on, final\u00adly arrived, and ordered the deli\u00adcious house spe\u00adcial\u00adty; a pulled pork sand\u00adwich with the cole slaw right in there with the 18 ingre\u00addi\u00adent sauced pork, <strong><em><span class=\"caps\">YUM<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sati\u00adat\u00aded and hap\u00adpy I remount\u00aded the Suzu\u00adki, for\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly still there since I\u2019d left the key in the igni\u00adtion in my hur\u00adry to quell my hunger. The weath\u00ader and traf\u00adfic con\u00adtin\u00adued ide\u00adal as I head\u00aded south on 101 to Bet\u00adter\u00adavia, Fox\u00aden Canyon Road, and High\u00adway 150, on over the pass and home. Arriv\u00ading home I care\u00adful\u00adly pulled the Suzu\u00adki up onto its cen\u00adter stand and lubed the chain while it idled in first gear. <em>A com\u00adplete day<\/em>.
