They found her place on a cool web site she had found and reg\u00adis\u00adtered with called <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.warmshowers.org\/\">Warm Show\u00aders<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and spent Mon\u00adday and Tues\u00adday nights with her on their San Fran\u00adcis\u00adco to Los Ange\u00adles adventure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ashecoutts.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2010-04-27_IMG_0001_450-360.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-77\" title=\"Frank and Margit\" src=\"http:\/\/ashecoutts.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2010-04-27_IMG_0001_450-360.jpg\" alt width=\"450\" height=\"360\"><\/a>Here they are yes\u00adter\u00adday morn\u00ading with their unloaded bikes as the three of us are about to start off on a very nice day of explo\u00adration as far as Coal Oil Point. Its always spe\u00adcial for me to meet cycle tourists and have a chance for a good&nbsp;chat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Things for bik\u00aders to notice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frank wrapped both frames, forks, etc. with insu\u00adla\u00adtion padding thus allow\u00ading an unboxed air trip from Ger\u00admany (and&nbsp;back)&nbsp;.<\/li>\n<li>Sprung\/wide Brooks saddles.<\/li>\n<li>Very upright rid\u00ading posture.<\/li>\n<li>Inter\u00adnal\u00adly geared rear hub with one chain\u00adring and and a very nice, very com\u00adplete chain guard. This allows shift\u00ading when the bike is stopped!! Very cool, when I stopped us quick\u00adly on a hill \u2014 I was the only one in the \u201cwrong gear\u201d for restarting&nbsp;\ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Front hub\/dynamo = lights when\u00adev\u00ader need\u00aded with\u00adout batteries.<\/li>\n<li>No span\u00addex!<\/li>\n<li>Frank is a very expe\u00adri\u00adenced cycle tourist hav\u00ading solo toured to Moroc\u00adco twice, Nor\u00adway, and to Patag\u00ado\u00adnia with a friend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My won\u00adder\u00adful duplex neigh\u00adbor Jill just host\u00aded a cou\u00adple from Ger\u00admany, Frank and Mar\u00adgit.
